Sharing large files earlier was a lengthy task. Users has to upload the file either on cloud or Google drive to share it with others.  The new update will allow users to share large files with just one tap.

But whatever files we shared was not uploaded in its original quality , it was uploaded in very low quality,as if we share photos,then our friends get it in low quality

Also The document sharing feature, so far, allows users to only share PDF files. This means that there is no support for .doc, .xls and other commonly used file formats as of now.

The users can now share all type of files on WhatsApp .A new WhatsApp update has added the document sharing feature on Android smartphones.

The process to attach files is similar to we send other files on the app. There’s a paper clip icon in the text box, tap on that and then select document.

WhatsApp currently has different file size limit across different platforms. The maximum file size for Android is 100MB, iOS is 128MB, for Windows  it is 104.86MB and for web it is 64MB.

With the new update, we can share files without any compression. This means that you can now share files and videos without any compression retaining the original quality of the file.

How to send documents on WhatsApp

• Launch WhatsApp and tap on an ongoing conversation in the Chats tab to open an existing thread, or tap on a contact in the Contacts tab to start a new conversation.

• Tap the paperclip icon at the top right of the screen to add an attachment to your message.

• You’ll see six icons pop up, the first of which is ‘Document’.

• Tap the Document icon. WhatsApp will bring up a list of documents stored on your phone.

• Select a document by tapping on it. To send press Send in the pop-up window.

How to send photos, videos, document and contacts on PC using WhatsApp web

Once connected you can send photos, videos, document and contacts, you just have to click on the paperclip button to attach a document from your computer. Here is a step by step guide which you can follow:

Step 1st: At first, open WhatsApp on your PC.

Steps 2 : Open a chat to whom you want to send photos, videos, document or contacts.

Step 3rd : After opening a chat click Attach at the top of the chat, then choose any one option:

• Photos & Videos: To send photos and videos you need to pick a photo or video from your computer.

Note: You can send up to 30 photos or videos at a time. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop a photo or video directly into the text input box. There is a 16MB size limit for each video you want to send.

• Camera: You can use the camera option to take a photo
• Document: You can even send a document by selecting a document option
• Contact: Contact option is also available, hence you can send contact by selecting that option.

Step 4: After selecting, tap Send.

How to send voice messages

1.Step:  firstly , you need to open a chat.

2.Step: Next click the Microphone and start speaking into your computer’s microphone.

3.Step: Once finished, click Confirm to send the voice message.

At any moment you feel like you want to cancel the recording (a voice message), you can click Cancel to cancel it.

1: firstly, you have to open a chat.

2: Next, click the photo or video you want to save.
